Brainreader enters into a 3-year-R&D-partnership with Aalborg University

We are proud to announce a new and exciting partnership with one of Denmark’s most prominent universities. Through our partnership we will be working closely with PhD student Daniel Ramsing Lund as part of his PhD dissertation.

Scope of PhD dissertation

The scope of the PhD project relates to neurodegenerative disease progression, primarily Alzheimer’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis. The aim is to develop new methods using deep learning and AI for segmenting the brain while combining the already known biomarkers and methodology. The research will focus on developing a better understanding of disease progression and the development of robust and faster AI tools to help diagnose neurodegenerative diseases in the future.

Aalborg University

Daniel is part of the Medical Informatics and Image Analysis Group at the Department of Health Science and Technology at Aalborg University. The research group focuses on AI and the current frontier is developing stable models that can be implemented in diagnostic and prognostic scenarios.

We will continuously update on the new findings of Daniel’s studies as it progresses.
